Last year was the first year where I noticed most people made the definite decision to go with EA, so it'll be interesting to see what each company does different this year. I think that there was a few points in the last five years in which the 2K series was better than EA’s just because the mechanics were a bit tighter, the game didn’t carry as many bugs in their releases, and they weren’t as feature heavy, but contained a lot of what was needed to just make a solid hockey game.

MLB 2k8 was so awful I wanted to call Take Two and have them reimburse me for the bandwidth it took to download.
