In the wake of the final EGM release and dismantling of the publication, Future Publishing (Nintendo Power, Official Xbox Magazine) excuses profit losses due to shrinking market. How about gaming mags?

Electronic Gaming Monthly Dissolves – 1UP Sold to UGO Entertainment

UGO gets a 1UP, and we couldn’t be more sad to hear it. The online gaming group has been sold by Ziff Davis, their parent company, who have also decided to axe the Electronic Gaming Monthly print publication.
